Name is Jacob Sonner, a photographer and sports media creator based in Dayton, Ohio.
My journey into photography started long before I even held a camera. As a kid,
I'd watch my father take photos and edit them. I was always interested in seeing how a simple photo could be turned into something completely different through editing, and it seems like that curiosity has stuck with me.
Eventually I got my first camera, a Canon Rebel t1i, during high school. I began photographing me and my buddies going on hikes and getting in touch with nature. During these last several years, I have spent a lot of time learning how to use a camera at the professional level, figuring out what makes a good photo, and how to edit.
Over time, photography became more than just a fun hobby. I started getting into sports photography and sports media, and I quickly became drawn to the energy and unpredictability that goes into shooting sports.
Today, my focus is sports photography and media, working with individual athletes, teams, schools, organizations, and anyone looking for high quality visuals. My goal is always to create something that people are excited to look at and share.
This website is where ill be showcasing my work for athletes, families, and fans to purchase and download their photos. I'm still building, still learning, and still chasing my dream. Thank you for being here and supporting my work.
